BIG BALLS are engineered to roll faster and last longer by using (6) 17% larger balls like our legendary Bones Super Swiss 6 bearings. Super REDS are designed from the ground up to be the best bearing on the market at this cost range. Bones Race REDS bearings are based on the Bones Super REDS by using higher quality steel races, better quality and grade balls, and a superior surface finish. Take the world class steels used in Super REDS and swap the steel balls for top quality grade 5, silicone nitride, hot, isostatic pressed ceramic balls and you have Bones Ceramic REDS.

Advantages
Skate Rated clearances, tolerances, materials and lubricant provide the best performance and durability possible. The larger balls let you roll faster with a higher top speed, faster acceleration, and turn fewer times, providing less wear and longer life. Higher quality steel races, better quality and grade balls, and a superior smooth finish results in a bearing that is as fast as REDS but quieter, smoother, and longer lasting. A precision ground extended race eliminates the need for speed rings and spacers, and provides better alignment of the bearings when the axle nut is tightened. These ones are lighter and provide faster acceleration because the balls weigh much less and they create less friction and are thus faster than Super REDS, with or without lubricant! Ceramic balls will not rust further lengthening their life.
